The Paschal Triduum or ‘Great Three Days’ is a celebration of even greater antiquity than Lent. The Three Days each begin (biblically) at sundown, starting with Thursday night—Friday and ending with Saturday night—Sunday. They constitute the solemn celebration of the Lord’s Passover from death to new life, in which we participate sacramentally to enter the new life in Christ.
